Product Updates!

Oct 30th 2021

Hello everyone,

Thank you all so much for your support and patience during the development process of the FDM-9 and the Invader PDW. I can't begin to express my gratitude and excitement for your enthusiasm. Here are some updates from this weekend that should hopefully give you something to look forward to:

FDM-9 Complete Triggers

I have trigger bars! I'll be printing up some batches of triggers today to get ready to ship for the orders containing only the completed triggers. If you ordered a completed trigger with some other items, I'll ship those all together in one kit. I have a few of the springs needed for this so I can probably ship out some of those as soon as I have them assembled. I have another batch of these springs on the way, but they were delayed unfortunately. Once I have them I'll ship the rest of the triggers.

Invader PDW Kits

Exciting news for the Invader PDW kits! I'm working with a vendor that is well known in the community to bring high-quality, CNC machined steel bars for the Invader PDW brace. I'm hoping to have these soon, however I don't have an actual ETA at the moment for when production of these will start, and subsequently shipping. These are the final piece of the kits that I'm waiting for and have everything else on-hand. Once I have a more solid timeline for the bars I'll update again.

FDM-9 Kits

The springs I have on order were delayed, so I'm still unable to finalize the parts for the kit (which is why I was also unable to take the FDM to the range this weekend). On the good-news side of things, I was able to find a suitable cheek-plate spring and have enough on-hand at the moment to provide for the kits on order. Here's the current breakdown for all the kit parts:

Part nameFinalized?Shipping to DNL?Ready to Ship?
Brace SpringNoDelayedN/A
Trigger SpringYesDelayedYes
Brace Bolt/nutYesIn ProgressYes
Grip Latch SpringYesIn ProgressNo

All other pins are finalized and on-hand, ready to ship. The non-reciprocating kit will need a bit longer to make sure that the parts work properly.

Further news for this week: The Invader PDW V2 will be released for public testing this week after I get everything packaged up with instructions and build notes. Keep an eye out for the announcement.

Thank you all,

DigitalNimbus
